Bye Bye Hair

Kinsey got her first haircut the other day. She had this really long bit of hair down the back of her neck. The rest of her hair never caught up to it, so it was time for it to go.

Kinsey and I were playing around the other day. She was too cute for me not to take any pictures of her. Boy, I love her to pieces! Being a mommy is the BEST!! This little face makes my heart skip a beat.

Yummy!

I know I said in my last post that I'd do an update right away. Well I did, but then I lost it. And I didn't feel like retyping it all. Whatever!

Anywho, we had Kinsey's doctor appointment the other day. She is 14lbs 3oz and she's 26 1/2" long. Yep, skinny and long! The doctor told me to start her on some rice cereal even though she's not 6 mths yet. Well she LOVES it! The very first time I tried giving it to her she chased the spoon cuz she wanted more. And now a week later, we don't even make a mess. (And I say "we" cuz I did my fair share of putting cereal up her nose and missing her mouth.) But now nothing on her face or her clothes. She's so cute. After each spoonful she goes "mmmm". It melts my heart!

Record Keeping

I can't keep up. I have too much record keeping that I'm trying to do. I'm trying to do my journal, this blog, Kinsey's baby book, photo albums, home videos, a baby calendar for Kinsey, upload videos and photos to Facebook, and something special for Kinsey from Mommy each month which includes a lot of writing and photos. I'm soooo falling behind. My journal isn't completely up-to-date and I hate that. And I apologize that I'm not able to update this blog as often as I'd like. I'll do better. I promise. I'll do an update later tonight.

Kinsey Loves Cartoons

Kinsey loves TV - especially her cartoons. Good luck trying to get her attention when she's watching TV. She won't look away for a second. She's so like her daddy when the TV is on. hehe
