Guess what I got!

I got a holiday trailer. Tim got the quad, but that didn't help with my fear of bears eating me when camping, so now we have a trailer too. Beacause of the quad I wasn't able to get a new (or even a new-ish) trailer -- they're a little too pricey. So last week Tim drove by a trailer with a For Sale sign in it and we went and checked it out. It's old, but has been redone. It's lite enough that our small truck (we don't have a full size truck) can pull it. Saturday afternoon Tim spent redoing the lights and brake wiring (I supervized) and then Sunday evening we wipped it down from top to bottom. We have some more to do to it (paint, etc) but I'm ready to go camping today!!

Yes, it's not fancy but I have a fridge, stove, sink, furnace, and a flush toilet. And it's clean! Sweet orange and yellow eh?
Here's the couch with a bunk above. Those curtains will be replaced and some painting (inside & outside) will be done.

Ashlee, were you on the radio today talking about this? I cought the end of some chick talking about buying a trailer so that she didn't get eaten by bears when she was camping. I thought it was you and now that I see this I REALLY think it was you. So ... was it?

Yep, that chick was me. I didn't actually hear it on the radio as I called in on my drive to work and I don't have a radio at work.

Man, bears freak me out!

That's hilarious! I wish i would've been tuned in to the radio! What station was it? Anyways, so glad you got the trailer....a little bit of bear security!

It was 107.7 The River. I always listen to their morning show. I told Tim to tune in and listen for it, but he didn't hear it either. Man, my one second of fame. At least Mike was there to witness it.

I'd love one of those! It's be so much more comfortable than sleeping in a tent when you go camping! I'll camp but I'm still a city girl at heart! ;)

How fun for you guys!

Love it, so happy that you both got the best of both worlds. You are going to LOVE the quad. So exciting!
