HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER? Married for 3.5 years

HOW LONG DID YOU DATE? When you know, you know...right? We were married one week shy of knowing each other for 5 months. Ya I know it was quick. And I ALWAYS swore I'd never be one of those girls to get married so quickly to someone I just met. I was wrong.

WHERE DID YOU MEET? A YSA dance. Lame I know. Tim stocked me there, but I thought he was stocking my friend. Then he asked me to dance the 2nd to last song (a slow song). He asked if we could hang out sometime. I said sure. He found me later on and asked for my number....in front of the guy I was seeing at the time. The guy and I were pretty much fizzling out so I gave my number to Tim. He called the next afternoon. Where was that wait to call for three days rule?

HOW OLD IS HE? 27

WHO EATS MORE? Tim picks and eats all day long. Never a bunch at one sitting, but little bits all the time. I could probably out eat him in one sitting, but I don't. I have no problem with eating till I'm so full it hurts. While Tim refuses to get full. He hates the feeling.

WHO SAID I LOVE YOU FIRST? Well you decide. After knowing each other for a week (ya I know) Tim said to me "I'm falling in love with you." I replied with a "Well, I love you." He says he said it first cuz what he said was close enough.

WHO IS TALLER? Timmy

WHO SINGS BETTER? We can both hold a tune, but Tim doesn't sing in public. At least not anymore.

WHO IS SMARTER? I dunno cuz our "smarts" are so different. I'm really good at some things that Tim's not and vise versa. We've never had to be smart at the same thing. hehe

WHO DOES THE LAUNDRY? Mostly me and I hate it. Tim totally helps out tons though.

WHO DOES THE DISHES? Once again, mostly me. Tim will help out, but it stops at loading the dishwasher. He doesn't do the dishes that have to be washed by hand.

WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED? Me cuz it's closer to the bathroom. I get up and pee 100 times a night.

WHO PAYS THE BILLS? Me. I just seemed to get that job. However I actually pay very few of them cuz I've got them all set up on automatic withdraw. Ya, I'm lazy.

WHO DRIVES WHEN YOU ARE TOGETHER? Tim about 95% of the time. I only drive when he's too tired to drive.

WHO IS MORE STUBBORN? Ya, that would be me.

WHO KISSED WHO FIRST? Tim kissed me. Took forever though. I don't blame him cuz I had a nasty cold sore at the time.

WHO ASKED WHO OUT? Tim asked me out. He called the very next afternoon. I was screening my calls and let him leave a message. Then I called everyone that I knew who knew him and asked if I should go out with him. Everyone said go for it. So I did. We went horseback riding.

WHO PROPOSED? Oh Tim. We went to Waterton on the May Long Monday and he knelt on those rocks on the beach of the lake and asked me to be his wife. We noticed afterwards that some old guy was watching us from the deck on his cabin.

WHO IS MORE SENSITIVE? Me for sure. Enough said about that.

WHO HAS MORE FRIENDS? We don't really have a huge group of friends...either of us. We have a few close friends that we love and that's it.

WHO HAS MORE SIBLINGS? Tim wins...hands down. I have 3 sisters. Tim has 14 brothers and sisters.

WHO WEARS THE PANTS IN THE FAMILY? It's all pretty equal. However when it comes to big purchases I usually make the final decision. We've never faught over finances cuz we made that promise to each other before we were married.

D-day of choice- Saturday cuz for the most part it means not having to wake for the alarm clock at 6am. And if Tim's not working then we get to do some fun stuff.

X-xrays or ultrasounds- Well I've only had x-rays at the dentist, but I've had many ultrasounds (most of which have been in the last 6 months) so I'll go with ultrasound.

Weird Stuff

I've been tagged by Casey to list 8 unknown/odd things about me. I enlisted my husband's services in coming up with some of these. He's apparently very aware of my weirdness. Anywho here we go:

8) I hate alarm clocks. I'd get up at 5 am every morning if it meant that I didn't have to listen to an alarm clock. The problem is that there's no way I'd be waking at 5 am without the assistance of an alarm clock. Yep, it's a double edged sword.

7) I'm extremely ticklish! Doesn't matter what part of my body. Even the thought of being tickled makes me shiver. Tim is terrible for tickling me all the time. He thinks it's great. He's learned the hard way that if I'm being tickled I don't hold back. I will do what I can to make you stop which will include pinching, kicking, and biting (I don't scratch and I'll explain that in the next point.) Early in our relationship he ended up with a huge bite mark on his shoulder from a time when he wouldn't stop tickling me (I gave him fair warning).

6) I cannot scratch! The thought of skin or other stuff under my nails gives me the creeps. The feeling I get when scratching skin is like dragging my nails down a chalkboard. It makes me shudder. Tim asks me to scratch his back and I have to refuse. I did offer to buy him one of those back scratcher thingys though.

5) Okay Casey...don't puke with this one. I cannot hang up the phone with my husband without telling Tim that I love him. I cannot let Tim go to work without getting a kiss, telling him that I love him, telling him to be careful & drive safe (one time I forgot the be careful & drive safe thing and he was in a car accident, now I never forget). I cannot go to bed without getting a kiss from Tim and telling him that I love him. And I cannot go to sleep without touching Tim. We can cuddle, spoon, touch feet, or hold hands (yes I make him hold my hand in bed...hehe). All of which are okay as long as we're touching. **Hey stop judging me. At least I'm admitting that it's weird by putting it on this list.**

4) I love bed! Not any bed. Just MY bed. It's my favorite place. If I wasn't too cheap and bought a second receiver for our satellite dish for my bedroom TV I'd never leave my bed. At night when I finally get to climb into bed I run towards it, let out a scream/squeal and jump onto the bed. And by the way I can't do the squeal on command. Tim has asked my over and over again to demonstrate the squeal for Trent & Tara and no can do.

3) I once had a stalker that I no longer remember. My family all remember it though. I was a server at a restaurant here in Lethbridge and apparently this dude would come in all the time and then wait out by my car. I guess police were involved and my mom and dad came to help me out with the situation. It was about 5.5 years ago and I have absolutely no recollection of this. I guess I suppressed it.

2) And I'm only mentioning this one cuz Casey bared her soul in hers. If I'm naked and there is a mirror I will dance. Not a naked sexy dance for Tim. It's not sexy at all and it only happens if I'm alone (or at least when I think Tim isn't watching). I remember the first time he caught me doing the jig. I was embarrassed and didn't realize he had been watching me the entire time. The odd thing is that before he caught me that day I didn't even realize that I would do this jig EVERY TIME naked me and a mirror were in the same room. I'm much more aware of it now.

1) Keep wet hair (that's not attached) away from me! I can't deal with wet hair. It doesn't even matter if it's my wet hair. I will dry heave (and sometimes throw-up) if I get one around my fingers while doing dishes, swimming, or showering. And if I get one in my food or heaven forbid my mouth...I'm done for. I will also throw-up if I see someone else pull a strand of hair from their mouth even if they are okay with it. Oh man, I'm gaging and my eyes are watering just writing this. So sick nasty!!

13. Whose wedding were you in the first time? The first time...my sister Jennifer's, but I have been in many-six actually (Brett, Rylee, Jill, Kimmy, and mine)
14. What is the first thing you do in the morning? Go downstairs and make/pack Tim's lunch

2. I’m 24 years old.
3. I’ve been married to Tim for almost 2.5 years.
4. We live in Stirling, Alberta.
5. I am the second oldest of 4 girls.
6. I work for the Government of Canada.
7. I’m an Executive Assistant.
8. Last week was my 5th Anniversary of working for the Federal Government.
9. Today is my 2nd Anniversary working for Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
10. I drive a truck 34 minutes (49.5km) one way to get to work each day.
11. I want a car to save on gas.
12. I’m not buying a car cuz I’m too cheap.
